After missing Lucius on Tuesday I made sure to see them in Madison. I do not know much of their music, and they only were afforded time to play six songs. Dressed like angels on the stage, they sang beautiful harmonies on the stage to a growing crowd. Holly Laessig had great energy while being pregnant. They were joined by Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs for their song “Old Tape.” The band draws similarities to Brandi Carlile (with whom they have collaborated), with a louder sound. They were a nice appetizer for the rest of the show.
